Jochen Holz uses a glassblowing technique meant for scientific lab equipment in his artistic practice. From his studio in London he brings character to transparent glass tableware by pressing molten areas onto different surfaces, forming unusual textures and shapes.

In his work with neon, Holz experiments with borosilicate glass to make immersive installations and freestanding sculptures.

This artist will be exhibited alongside others at our Coal Drops Yard store in King’s Cross, London, from early to mid 2019.
