COS × Serpentine Galleries Park Nights 2017

COS is proud to support Serpentine Galleries Park Nights 2017, a series of events on art, dance, film and technology programmed for the new Serpentine Pavilion designed by award-winning architect Francis Kéré.

Inspired by the tree that serves as a central meeting point in his home town of Gando in Burkina Faso, Francis Kéré has designed a responsive Pavilion that seeks to connect its visitors to nature and each other. Mimicking a tree’s canopy, the expansive roof allows air to circulate freely while offering shelter, and in case of rain an oculus funnels any water that collects on the roof into a spectacular waterfall that will later irrigate the surrounding park.

This year’s Park Nights series takes place on selected Friday evenings from 30th June until 22nd September and features site-specific events by a range of international artists, choreographers and filmmakers.
