COS × Serpentine Family Programme

For the first time, COS is also providing year-round support to Family Weekends, a line-up of free artist-led experiences and events that are open to all.

The 2018-19 Family Programme Artist in Residence, Harold Offeh, invites children and families to engage in activities, centred around collaboration, performance and conversation that respond to histories and culture by creating environments for shared learning and collective experiences.

30 JUNE – 1 JULY, 1-5pm

We are the real sculptures!
- a workshop programmed in parallel with the Serpentine summer season featuring Christo and Jeanne-Claude: Barrels and The Mastaba 1958–2018 and the work of Tomma Abts.

11 – 12 AUGUST, 1-5pm

Becoming Chac Mool - Harold Offeh and Veronica Cordova de la Rosa invite children and their families to create costumes inspired by Chac Mool, a reclining sculpture found on the top of Mexican temples and pyramids.

13 – 14 OCTOBER

The Family Weekend programmes are non-ticketed, free of charge and can be enjoyed on a drop-in basis.
